WHAT IS SEPTA?

SEPTA is a Special Education Parent Teacher Association for families in Kings Park.

SEPTA serves the entire school district and dedicates itself to function as an advocate for children that require supportive services for learning. We recognize the students have a broad range of learning styles and abilities. That is why our organization supports the needs of ALL our children, including those who are gifted, learning or physically challenged, and general education learners.

SEPTA's mission is to offer information, encouragement, resources and support to parents, students and educators. We aim to ensure our students educational, social, and emotional needs are met.


     We are a 501 C-3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to enriching the lives of students and families through fundraising.

DISCOVER GREAT RESOURCES! We actively raise funds so we can provide support for a variety of school programs and needs for our children. 


ATTEND EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS! Our speakers will help your children learn strategies with homework, reading, behaviors, feeding, social and emotional health, and more.

Forms can easily be downloaded below and either:   

  1. Mailed 
  2. Given to your child's teacher 
  3. Dropped off at one of our five school's main office  


Fees can be attached to a membership form, sent by either CASH, CHECK or MARKED VENMO PAYMENT.
